Timur Granovsky was born in Kazakhstan. He studied at the St. Petersburg and Moscow Conservatories before immigrating to the United States to work with Dr. Jerry Wong. He has performed in the United States, Russia, Switzerland, Germany and Estonia. Last spring, he won the Middle East District Buckeye Piano Competition. He has participated in masterclasses with Dorian Leljak, Sandra Shapiro and Gerardo Teissonniere.
