The SSO Chorus
The Stow Symphpony Orchestra Chorus was founded in the fall of 1998 following the founding of the Stow Symphony Orchestra.
The Chorus presented a performance of Messiah with [what was then] the Stow Chamber Orchestra in December of that year.
Several Messiah performances have followed over the course of the group's existence including its most recent
performance in December of 2010. The Symphony Chorus regularly performs during the Christmas Holiday concerts of
the Stow Symphony. Other performances have included
- Gloria by Vivaldi, and
- Mozart's Requiem.
Call for Singers
The Stow Symphony Orchestra and Chorus will perform
9th Symphony
on 11 May 2013.
The rehearsal schedule is as follows:
Chorus-alone Rehearsals
- Thursday evenings, March 14th - May 9th, 7- 9:30 PM
- Location: Tallmadge Alliance Church
Chorus & Orchestra Rehearsal (Mandatory)
- Tuesday May 7th, 7-9:30 PM
- Location:Stow-Munroe Falls High School Band Room
